☼ Abilities Axel is associated with the element of fire. Not only does he have personality traits of it, he can manipulate and use it as a weapon
☼ Weaponry Axel's weapon of choice are a pair of wonderfully crafted chakrams that are perfect for sending flames through and around them.
[A little bit of history]
☼ Axel is Number 8 in Organization XIII, codename “Flurry of Dancing Flames”. Like other Nobodies, he lacks morality and emotion… many pretend to have emotions because they lack hearts, or just feel incomplete. Axel was part of Organization XIII (a group of Nobodies grouped together to find out what lies within the heart and hope to use the power of Kingdom Hearts to become whole humans). When Roxas joins the Organization he and Roxas develop a close bond with one another. Unlike everyone else Axel had encountered in his life, Roxas was the first one to make him feel like he had a heart.
☼ When Roxas was “captured” but DiZ, and brought into the alternate reality DiZ had made for him, Axel set out to personally retrieve his friend and bring him back to the Organization. He then goes on to capture Kairi, hoping to lure Sora to him (hopefully getting Roxas back?). When he finally meets with Sora again in Hollow Bastian he apologizes for getting Kairi involved, since Saix stole her for the Organization’s own needs.
Soon enough, he meets with Sora again in the portal to the World that Never Was. Here, Axel fights alongside Sora and ends up giving his own life for Sora to pass through the portal. With his last words Axel tells Sora to save Kairi, that he is sorry for everything, and tells Sora that he made him feel like he had a heart, just like Roxas once did.
